Heart Surgery for Irina Rostenko

Irina was born April 3, 1992, so she is now 13 years old.  She is seen above in the yellow jacket and yellow shirt.

She was born with a block of the 3rd degree in her heart.  A pace maker implant was implanted in 1996, at age 4.  They changed the battery in the implant in 2003 (age 9).  She had a 1st degree blood circulative disease, and they put a new pace maker in on May 12, 2006. At this moment she has a progressive heart disease.

She needs help in her medical healing and if possible a surgery outside of the Ukraine.  We want to get Irina here to the states.  Vicki Swinehart (vjtctoms@yahoo.com) is trying to get her medical done in TN at Vanderbilt. We hope we can accomplish this without any cost.
We do need to raise the money to get her and a caregiver here. That will be passports, paperwork and plane tickets.

If anyone can donate airline mileage that would be wonderful.
Any help, ideas, suggestions, etc. would be welcomed.

If for some reason this does not come to fruition, any money donated would go to the most needy at Life2Orphans.
