The region health care department runs the orphanage. The great part of the finances is spent on food and medications.

In the past year linen, tights, overalls, towels and blankets were bought. We also purchased a washing machine.

The region health care department does not invest any money into reconstruction of the building, although this is the most urgent need. In 2005 the institution will turn 25 and it needs maintenance. The stuff of the orphanage regularly fixes the studies and the children’s rooms by themselves, but quite a lot of money is needed to purchase all the required materials: paint, gypsum, lime, linoleum, wash-basins, toilets, bath tubs, shower-room equipment, fluorescent lamps.
